Elizabeth Nichols is Invertebrate Biodiversity Specialist at the Center for Biodiversity and Conservation. Her work focuses on putting invertebrates on the conservation agenda through a combination of fieldwork and publications that highlight their role in providing ecosystem services. She is currently studying the cascading effects of mammal hunting on dung beetle communities and ecological function in the Brazilian Amazon.
Elizabeth holds an M.A. in Conservation Biology from Columbia University, where she is currently pursuing her doctorate. She has field and teaching experience in North, Central, and South America and Tanzania. |
